Membership Criteria

Registered Member


To become a registered member of HKADCP, an individual must have obtained a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent from an accredited educational institution that meets the required academic courseworks; dissertation; practicum/internship areas and hours and other requirements listed in the attached information. These requirements reflect our registered members possess the necessary components to practice as a qualified clinical psychologist.

 

Fellow

To become a fellow of HKADCP, an individual must be a registered member, completed 5 years of experiences in clinical psychology AND to be invited and recommended to HKADCP by two fellow members of this association.

 

Honorary Member

Any person recognized by his/her contributions to Clinical Psychology or who can contribute to HKADCP and be invited by the Board.

 

Honorary Adviser

Any person recognized by his/her contributions to Clinical Psychology or who can contribute to HKADCP and be invited by the Board.

 

Student Affiliate

Being enrolled in undergraduate in Psychology or graduate program in clinical psychology or any psychology related program of a recognized institute, college or university; AND to be nominated by one registered member of HKADCP.

 

Associate Member

Person who has a working, qualified or bona fide interest in clinical psychology; AND to be nominated by one registered member of HKADCP.
